The first train for Tram Line 2 made its debut in Suzhou New District. This train is over 80 percent made in China, saving costs for both production and future maintenance.

Its body is inspired by a water drop, and it is 2.25 meters high, making it comfortable for commuters. Its aluminium frame is lightweight, strong and corrosion-proof.

The tram train can save 20 percent of energy in summer and 50 percent of energy in winter thanks to its insulation design.
