Changes are happening fast around demography, ageing population, society… which create the need of a new model for residential care.

People feel vulnerable and sad in this stage of their lives, so it is really important to design for real people needs in order to achieve happiness and healthcare. For that aim, there have been done lots of user interviews, visits to residences, international models research, investigations on emotional architecture, and so on.

This model gathers in a visual way what feelings spaces have to transmit, taking into account furniture and products, layouts, technology… and also what colours, materials and textures should be chosen to let positive emotions flow.
