There are so many factors that can lead to stress, and so many consequences that people experience in their life, directly affecting their well-being and quality of life.
Based on an innovative technology that measures multiple variables (cardiac coherence, conductanceâĤ), this wearable, unlike others, not only measures but also through an App trains the user to deal with stress situations in a simple way. Furthermore, it informs professionals about the evolution, through a digital platform, so that they can treat patients in a personalized and efficient manner.
This innovation project is part of HAZITEK (SPRI) and it co-created with Burmuin, Osarten, Init Health and Deusto University among others.

Design Essence
Natural calm through technology.
The design of incalm translates the concept of well-being and balance into a minimalist, elegant, and human-centered object. Its soft geometry and smooth, continuous surfaces evoke tranquility, while the combination of flexible silicone and natural wood brings together technology and nature in perfect harmony.
The light, soothing color palette, cream white and mint blue, reinforces the sense of serenity and comfort, making the wearable feel like a companion for daily relaxation rather than a medical device. Every detail, from the engraved logo to the tactile texture, has been carefully designed to express calm, warmth, and trust.

Design Process
From insight to tangible well-being.
The project followed a user-centered design approach, beginning with the identification of stress-related habits, needs, and emotional triggers through persona profiles and behavioral research. Early sketches explored ergonomic shapes and materials that would feel natural on the wrist, balancing aesthetics with functionality. Through rapid prototyping and iterative testing, the team refined proportions, interfaces, and comfort factors to achieve a design that feels intuitive and unobtrusive.
