Inspired by the nature (birds, flowers) that surrounds the city of Hangzhou and the essence of Hangzhou Airport’s architecture, this project successfully achieves the aim to merge this combo in a stunning and innovative interior and exterior metro design.

Exterior Design
Clean and soft.
The exterior design is the result of a smart combination of clean, soft and rounded shapes, creating a fluid and elegant silhouette. Its distinctive front design evokes the image of a bird in flight, symbolizing movement, lightness and connection, a perfect metaphor for a metro line linking the city to its airport. Inspired by the scenic views of West Lake, one of Hangzhou’s most iconic landmarks, the design merges technology and poetry, blending harmoniously with the city’s identity and landscape.
