Suünway is the result of our collaboration with CRRC, the world’s largest rolling stock manufacturer, for exploring how the BRT (Bus Rapid Transit, a bus-based public transport system designed to have better capacity and reliability than a conventional bus system) could open up opportunities in the near future.
We are facing new realities, technology is evolving fast and our needs as society are changing. Hence, our challenge was to be conscious of these changes to make the right questions for getting the right answers while defining the interior and exterior design of a BRT that will reflect CRRC values and respond to future user’s, cities’ and humanity needs.
Inspired by the latest automotive aesthetic trends and using a user-centred approach, our design team designed Suünway, a minimal, highly innovative and impressive BRT.
